Happy MLK Day, y'all. Here's some music to get you moving.

We just had ourselves a witch's tit weekend, but it wasn't without hot spells.

Bad Boy Bill at Rich's

Glowsticks are back. Or something. Anyway, we hit up Rich's at 2 a.m. on Friday night as part of our ongoing project to document different moments in time at bars around town. In the past we've visited Bronx Bar, Avant Garden, Howl at the Moon, Numbers and Boondocks.

Implosion of the Montagu Hotel

The ol' fleabag went down on Sunday morning. We got plenty of pics.

NFL Championship Weekend

The Patriots beat the Chargers, and the Giants beat the Packers (which means John Royal finally got one right). Jason Friedman offered up some quick commentary.

Friedman, by the way, will be at the Toyota Center live-blogging the Supersonics vs. Rockets later today, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. As Dr. King said, "History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people." Okay, that's actually got nothing to do with sports, but, man, he really was awesome. -- Keith Plocek
