If there's anything that can bring people together during Christmas, it's the unanimity of hatred for cheesy jewelry ads on TV.
Cynical in conception, gooey in execution, the ubiquitous spots appall most everyone. On the other hand, they must make somebody buy crappy jewelry, or they wouldn't be on the air.
