The man who was was found shot to death March 1 has been identified, and two men have confessed to the crime, police say.

Xavier Jamar Clinton, 27, was found shot to death in an apartment complex in the 10900 block of Tanner Park Court about 8:30 p.m. March 1, after police got a report of shots being fired.

At the time, HPD had little information to go on and no known suspects.

An investigation led them to Manuel Rivera-Sanchez, 20, and Israel Soriano, 21. HPD says "both were arrested after confessing to their roles in shooting Clinton."

Cops are still looking for the 2006 red Ford F-150 pickup truck with Texas license plates AT2-3040 that was used in the crime.

"The wanted vehicle was used by the suspects and later taken by other unknown suspects," HPD says.

Anyone with information in this case or on the whereabouts of the truck is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
