Thieves broke into the northwest Harris County home of Wes Covington sometime Saturday morning and took a ton of stuff -- a TV, among other things.
And those "other things" include custom-made guitars, including one signed by Buddy Guy.
And, worst of all -- the three-year-old Boxer, Charlie.
Covington's cousin works here at the Press and he says neither his cousin nor his wife are thinking too much of the valuables taken.

"They don't really care about that stuff. Just Charlie," he says.
Seriously -- who takes a dog during a burglary?
The Covingtons hope Charlie is roaming around, maybe near their home in the Copper Village subdivision.
If you see him, call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. We need to put a smile on this dog's face.
