The FBI uses some creative approaches in their press releases, namely how they label particular wanted criminals. In the last couple of days, they have asked for help locating a "yellow-teeth" bandit, for example. But they missed out on a chance to call the woman above Old Red Riding Hood, which is disappointing.
Either way, both are wanted in connection with robberies. On the right is a suspect wanted in the robbery of a J.P. Morgan Chase Bank on Monday. Though you can't tell from the photo, witnesses said the man had yellow teeth. Maybe he just had a bunch of coffee that morning, who knows?
He entered the bank at 5207 Airline Drive around 1 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash. He fled in a light-colored two-door Saturn sedan.
In the other corner is an older woman who allegedly robbed a Woodforest National Bank inside a Walmart on Monday -- with the holidays over, I guess even criminals are short of cash. This one at just after 9 a.m., the woman handed the teller a blue vinyl bag demanding cash like Yellow Teeth. She left the bank and no one was hurt.
Oddly, the two share age and size. Both are 5'7" and believed to be in their 50s. Red was wearing a hooded jacket (red, natch) over her 130-pound frame and covering her dirty blond hair. Yellow was slim with gray hair and wearing a light-green jacket.
