The veddy British newspaper the Guardian does a veddy British thing on the web: It offers a "mystery bird," a heavily cropped picture of a bird which readers are then asked to identify.

Today's is from Houston!!

There's not much in the way of clues: "This distinctive North American mystery bird plays an important ecological role in its breeding habitat," the paper says. Don't most birds and wildlife?
