Simple etiquette -- it is so rare these days.
Gentlemen donning chapeaux in this modern era seldom can be bothered to make the effort to tip their headgear in the most basic acknowledgement of interaction with a fellow human being.
Not the dude who robbed a First Convenience Bank inside a Cypress Kroger this summer, however. The Federal Bureau of Investigation points out that the man happily tipped his cap to the teller who was being so kind as to help him rip off the place.
The FBI put out the picture earlier, but they're a little baffled why it didn't get more response since it's such a clear shot.
"The [media] coverage only resulted in one phone call," FBI media coordinator Shauna Dunlap says. "When this occurs with such good photographs, it is unusual. It can often mean the bank robber is from just outside the area."
So the agency is giving it another shot.
