We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.

So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.

This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.

Yesterday we posted some inconclusive video that's part of a debate as to whether the crew tearing down Galveston's Flagship Hotel are tossing debris into the Gulf.

The Flagship is being demolished so Tilman Fertitta can put up a Kemah Boardwalk clone, and one reader kept that in mind.

Old Salty wrote:

If Tillman Fertitta could he'd take the rubble from that building and deep fry it and sell it to you.
