After a last-minute request and approval to cover the New Braunfels stop of the Mad Decent Block Party, Rocks Off's own Marco Torres sent in this visual summary of the event, held this past Saturday at the Whitewater Amphitheater.

Personal Bias: Mad
Decent Awesome Block Parties rule everything around me!
The Crowd: Dudes and dudettes in typical festival uniform: bare-chested or tank top with jogging shorts for the dudes, high-waisted mom jean cutoffs and bras for the ladies. Fun crowd, not too many altercations or arrests.
Overheard In the Crowd: "This is my first concert or festival experience... ever. And I'm having the time of my life!" -- A friend of a friend who was clearly having the time of her life.
Random Notebook Dump: Last year, I caught the Las Vegas stop of the Mad Decent Block Party at the Encore Beach Club. That day included partying with a bachelorette party of gorgeous, bikini-clad women and drinking champagne. As fun as New Braunfels is/was, it's no Vegas!
