We've all discussed the great Tuesday and Wednesday East Coast and West Coast earthquakes, Hurricane Irene, and the inescapable apocalypse. It's Friday, so it's pretty old news by Internet time standards. It only took a few hours for Tumblr and the rest of this Internet to circulate this totally tasteless Michael J. Fox meme.
While we were searching Twitter for some feedback from the aftermath of the quake, we discovered that the only person who really suffered from any natural disaster this week was Sir Richard Branson, and we're not referring to his disastrous X-Men Sabretooth face. Haaaaay.
Branson's "main home" on his private island caught fire during Hurricane Irene the same day of the earthquakes. Let the record show that this man has at least four houses, and some kind of tiny village (that's what we heard), on that island.
Anyways, now it's heading for the East Coast since the 5.8 magnitude earthquake didn't cause enough damage (it really didn't...see Q-Tip's tweet below.) Those Yankees gotta burn so that Texas can take over the world.
Here are some of our favorite East Coast rapper tweets regarding the quake. It's worth mentioning, since the quake got more tweets than Osama Bin Laden's death and the earthquake in Japan.
Truth be told, though, none of the rappers really gave a shit. What will you be tweeting when the next #natdisast hits?
@HEEMS (Das Racist) ny media actin like a buncha babies right now.

Remember that benefit show for Muhammadali that raised money to get them to Awesome Fest in San Diego? Well, they blew all of that money on drugs, assault rifles and fine art.
Just kidding, Awesome Fest is happening and the boys are departing for their fall tour, like many other bands from Houston. They want to say bye-bye to everyone before they leave. Their tour kickoff show is this Saturday at Notsuoh's and includes Cunt Killer (who we've mentioned for three weeks straight now; you should go see them so we'll stop), Darwin's Finches, "Stoner Droners" The Tron Sack and Bryan's The Hangouts.
Oh and Jackson Potts II, that 11-year-old kid you see at shows with the professional camera taking band pictures will be there too. He's going to be filming the whole thing, so no filthy language! Cover is $5, and the Muhammadali crew will have new shirts for that ass.
If you haven't seen the band in the past month or two, you should make sure that you're there; there are two drummers now and the sound is even more bounteous than it was before.
Last but not least, in World Star Hip Hop news, Mo City's own Big Boss E made the home page as "Unsigned Hype" with his single "Fat Boy." It's turrible. Cars, 40 women in a pool, and the same group of women counting counterfeit money in a house that's not even his.
Plus, he says "Go Fat Boy!" at least 50 times in the song. C'mon, man, why are you representing Mo City like that? See for yourself:
