Henry Rollins talks about Slayer Since 1952, every first Thursday in May has been set aside as a National Day Of Prayer. It's a day for Christians and other religious folk to gather together and pray for our country, the world and ourselves. God is awesome and all that, but thankfully the people over at nationaldayofslayer.org are working to designate June 6 as a National Day of Slayer. Rocks Off thinks for maximum effect, NDOS should be on the same day as NDOP, but whatever. If you really wanna get technical, every day already is a day of Slayer for us.

For those of you who will observe NDOS today, because you are awesome and/or our dear friend Kinkade, the website offers these following guidelines:

  • Listen to Slayer at full blast in your car.
  • Listen to Slayer at full blast in your home.
  • Listen to Slayer at full blast at your place of employment.
  • Listen to Slayer at full blast in any public place you prefer.

Here's something to get you started...

  • Music
  • Metalocalypse
  • Miles-tones
