NEW PROGRAM: Weekly Buddhist Meditation in Sugarland Tuesdays 6:45 – 8:00pm Classes: Oct 10 - 24 | Oct 31 - Nov 14 | Dec. 4-18 Address: Creative Crossing Studios: 16305 Kensington Dr Ste. 270, Sugar Land, TX 77479 Each class consists of guided meditation, a talk on an aspect of meditation and buddhist thought, and an opportunity to discuss and ask questions. Great for beginners as well as those with some experience. Classes are self-contained so you can drop in to an individual class or attend the whole series. Everyone is welcome! A great opportunity to learn how to meditate and to integrate a meditation practice into your daily life. Meditation classes for everyone. All classes are taught with American Buddhist nun, Gen Norden. Gen Kelsang Norden is a senior ordained teacher of Modern Buddhism. She was requested by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche to teach at Kadampa Meditation Center in Houston. Ordained as a Buddhist nun in 1994, Gen Norden has been teaching Buddhism and meditation in the US and the UK for over 20 years. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy the precious dharma of Modern Buddhism with such an experienced practitioner. Just drop in – no need to sign up in advance. Everyone is welcome.
