Celebración de Vida by MEXICRÁNEOS

When: Mondays-Sundays. Continues through Nov. 7 2021

Take a moment this fall to celebrate life and remember those we have lost with Celebración de Vida by MEXICRÁNEOS, a large-scale art installation featuring 10 vibrantly 7’ tall painted skulls placed throughout Discovery Green and along Avenida de las Americas. Each skull is painted by a different Mexican artist to portray an aspect of Mexican culture or heritage. Celebración de Vida marks the first time the work has been shown in the United States. The skulls will be placed throughout the park and along the Plaza at Avenida Houston beginning October 6 and will be on view through November 7. [Organizer's description]
