Redbud Arts Center is excited to present David Adickes’ works titled “Bronzes from the Past”. David Adickes is a sculptor, painter, writer, poet, storyteller, jokester, musician, and entrepreneur. In one word, he is a renaissance man. Amongst many paintings that mirror his travel and life experiences, he is well known for his iconic sculptures such as the Presidents’ Heads, the Beatles, and the Virtuoso Cellist that are scattered throughout Houston. At age 96, Adickes is a larger-than-life artist, just like his larger-than-life sculptures. We invite you to meet David Adickes and view his seldom shown bronze sculptures.
