Mahesh’s Kitchen in Sugar Land Town Square today announced a week-long celebration of Diwali, a five-day national Indian holiday known as the festival of lights. The restaurant will kick off the Diwali celebration with the following activations: November 3: entertainment from violinist Azim Khan, November 4: DJ Heena Shah and singer Toki Singh playing the Dhol, November 5: entertainment from violinist Azim Khan. November 6: Heena Shah singing Bollywood songs, November 7: Kiron Nayak singing Bollywood songs. Guests can also partake in Mehendi and Heena drawing and complimentary Diwali snacks such as Chakli and Chiwda. [Organizer's description]
