Duruflé Requiem
The universally loved Requiem by Maurice Duruflé is loved for its simplicity and it's humanity. Written using chant tunes, it's magic rests in its singable melodies and changing meters. Featuring the work of Dr. Ann Frohbieter at the organ, this piece is augmented by Matt Detrick and his amazing players, members of the Apollo Chamber Players. The concert will take place in the Centrum on Sunday, May 7 at 7:30.
