"Amarula" by Bari Jenks
Local interior designer Angela Lee of Evolution by Design recently announced that she is representing talented artist Bari Jenks. To kick off their partnership, on Thursday, September 24, Angela is hosting a virtual art and interior design show where she will showcase Bari’s beautiful work and how she incorporates art into interior design. To access the show, viewers can tune into @evolutionbydesign_’s Instagram live on Thursday, September 24 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The virtual show will include a Q&A with Bari Jenks about her beautiful work and passion for art as well as showcase multiple vignettes designed by Angela that display the art in various ways. Viewers will have the opportunity to get a first look at Bari’s artwork that will be available to purchase online or at Evolution by Design’s boutique furniture store and showroom as well as take away a few interior design tips, such as how to design a space around an original art piece, how to use art to personalize a room, how to successfully combine an original piece with stock images, and more.

Bari Jenks is a self-taught African American visual artist whose work reflects a range of African-inspired mixed-media with a contemporary twist.
