Enjoy a day of educational presentations, games, and shopping during the Pollinator Festival and Fall Plant Sale at Harris County Precinct 4's Mercer Botanic Gardens. Celebrating pollinators of all varieties, the festival includes crafts, games, face painting, and free, hourly presentations on the importance of monarch conservation, honeybees, East Texas nectar plants, and more. Visitors can participate in Exploration Stations, vote for the best pollinator-themed scarecrow display, and peruse books at the Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library booth. Fall Plant Sale: While at the festival stock your own pollinator friendly garden with decorative garden trinkets, pollinator host plants, as well as Texas native plants, such as coneflowers, longhorn milkweed, and passion vine, all available for purchase with proceeds benefitting Mercer Botanic Gardens.
