Houston Writers to Discuss Award-Winning Book

On October 1, at 3 p.m., Murder by the Book will present three local authors to discuss short story anthology EVERY BEAST HAS A SECRET, which recently won Best Anthology of 2022 at the New York Book Festival. Cash Anthony, who edited the collection, said, “These mysteries by members of The Final Twist Writers Society portray characters endangered, embarrassed, observed, befriended, or betrayed by animals interacting with humans.” Anthony, Leif Behmer, and Tasha Storfer will participate in the panel discussion, then sign copies. Becky Hogeland, current president of the non-profit organization, will pose questions about “Writing to a Theme.”
