Casa Cultural de las Americas will bring literature from the Americas to the Cities of Houston and San Antonio. ILF-H 2018 will bring poets and writers from across the Americas: Tamara Kamenszain (Argentina), Juan Manuel Roca (Colombia), Mabel Cuesta and Legna Rodríguez Iglesias (Cuba), Abdón Ubidia (Ecuador), Coral Bracho and Rocío Cerón (México), Jordi Virallonga Eguren (Spain), Carmen Giménez Smith (USA), Martha Canfield (Uruguay) and Adalber Salas (Venezuela). The inaugural festival event will occur on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at the University of Houston -Main Campus- Commons at the Honors College. WHEN & WHERE: Houston - November 6 & 7, 2018 – Event is free and open to the public, Day 1 – November 6, 16:00 pm – 19:25 pm, University of Houston-Main Campus, Commons at the Honors College; Day 2 – November 7, 17:30 pm. – 20:00 pm; Julia Ideson Building, Houston Public Library. San Antonio: November 8, 2018 – Event is free and open to the public, Day 3 – November 8, 14:30 pm – 18:20 pm. Mexican Cultural Institute, San Antonio.
