Join the JDRF Houston Gulf Coast Chapter for a day of fun and games as they test their skills in a Mah Jongg tournament and play to raise funds for type 1 diabetes. New and experienced gamers are welcome to attend the tournament on September 30th that will include door prizes and auction items, such as artwork from artist Jim Rabby, a bed and breakfast style staycation at The Houstonian and a dinner for ten at Carrabba’s on Voss and Woodway. A delicious lunch catered by the venue will also be served. Mah Jongg is a game of Chinese descent using tiles in order to create “sets,” and was not fully introduced into American culture until the 1920s. For more information and to reserve your spot in the tournament, please contact Jeri Wolff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
