Nicole Longnecker Gallery announces the solo exhibit, Songs for Survival, featuring a selection of work by Arizona artist Kesha Bruce. This work is a reflection of an important artist’s last few years of growth. Bruce’s spirit-based use of guardians, African-American folklore and a prophetic mix of abstracted figures and symbols serve as a reminder ‘to fight’ and to bring about change.
“I am excited to show Kesha Bruce’s work as the opening exhibit of our new gallery space,” said gallery owner Nicole Longnecker. “As we begin our seventh year, Kesha is indicative of the diverse programming we will continue to exhibit for our Houston collector audience.” [Organizer's description]
