Renowned international luxury furniture brand, Roche Bobois is proud to debut its L’Artesanía de Vivir project in Houston, Texas. Consisting of 32 unique chairs re-created by 23 Mexican craftsmen specialized in weaving, embroidery, and beadwork, the exhibit was first displayed at the prestigious Alcazar del Castillo Chapultapec in Mexico City and subsequently journeyed throughout museums in Mexico. The exhibition will travel outside of Mexico for the first time to Houston, Texas on November 7th and 8th with the cavernous Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern serving as a dramatic backdrop. The two-day exhibition will commence on November 7th at 5:30 pm with a press conference and tour guided by Maria Esther Villar Otero of Roche Bobois followed by an invitation-only cocktail event. The exhibit will open to the public at 10:00 a.m. on November 8th with light refreshments served at 7:00 p.m. Throughout both evenings, guests will have the opportunity to view live demonstrations by a Mexican artisan.
