Join Edible Houston and Arlene Morales for a tamale dinner and hands-on class Thursday, December 6. Sit down for a full tamale dinner before getting into the kitchen to learn the art of scratch-made tamale making from one of Houston's favorite tamale masters (she even renders her own lard!). Attendees will make two types of Tamales (pork and chicken) and then take home 1/2 dozen (3 of each) plus steaming instructions to share with friends and family. Of course there will be beer, wine and soft drinks too! Each guest also has the opportunity to pre-order tamales to take home after class + purchase BBQ tamales from our menu host, Harris County General Store and BBQ. Just in time for the holidays!
