Lone Star Gumbeaux Festival
Tasty gumbo and live music will fill downtown Hitchcock this spring as the City of Hitchcock presents its first ever Lone Star Gumbeaux Festival on Saturday, April 29th.
A gumbo cook-off featuring mouth-watering recipes from local restaurants, individuals and organizations will search for the best gumbo in Galveston County.
Cajun rockers “Bayou Roux” will perform throughout the afternoon with their own brand of Cajun, classic rock and country music. Vendors, food trucks, kids zone and more.
The event is on North MKL street along the railroad tracks in downtown Hitchcock.
