The community is invited to stop by The Parkway activity and event site at the corner of Allen Parkway and Dunlavy, across from Buffalo Bayou Park and The Villas at River Oaks for the increasingly popular outdoor local artisan market event, Market Days, as it beats the heat by shifting to the fourth Friday evening of the month through September.
Kick off the last weekend of Pride month at Market Days, a pop-up evening art market in partnership with The Art Cellar of Houston. Grab a bite from one of the onsite food trucks and a beer from 8th Wonder Brewery as you puruse local artisans selling jewelry and accessories, artwork (Lowe Art Lab), candles (Streets of NO Candle Company), apothecary (Sweet Indulges), and culinary treats (Shosho’s Kitchen, Pet Wants Heights. The Parkway Market Days is free to attend, and the first 50 attendees will receive complimentary tie-dye t-shirt art kits. Additional tie-tye art kits will be priced at $35 each for the remainder of the evening. [Organizer's description]
