Midtown Houston presents Virtual Beats & Eats with Kai Hicks and the Alter Ego Band

Midtown Houston presents Beats & Eats. This virtual party includes music from DJ Mav along with a special live performance from "Kai Sings" and the Alter Ego Band. Kai is a pioneer in the Houston underground live music movement. She began her professional career singing background vocals for R&B legend Regina Belle in 2005. She's since toured with J Holiday, Ledisi, Jennifer Lopez, Chante Moore and Houston's most famous artists such as legendary rapper Scarface and Destiny Child's (Beyonce and Letoya Luckett respectively.) Her TV appearances include the 2010 Grammys and the "I AM... Tour" with Beyonce and BET's "Black Girls Rock" among many others.
