MUSIC THROUGH THE AGES

When: Sat., Aug. 26, 7-8 p.m. 2023

On August 26, at 7:00 pm, the Cultural Center "Our Texas" will host a solo concert by renowned Russian-American pianist Osip Nikiforov. The program features some of Rachmaninoff's most famous pieces, as well as the popular Sonata in D Minor by Scarlatti and the famous Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin. Osip Nikiforov is a distinguished pianist who has won numerous awards in national and international competitions. Currently, he is a Malcolm W. Perkins Teaching Fellow in the Doctor of Musical Arts program at Rice University.
