The evening of music by Russian composers of 20th Century in conjunction with an illustration exhibition by Igor Karash “In Red and Black”. In the program: Prokofiev - Cello Sonata, op. 119, Myaskovsky - Cello Sonata Nr. 2 in A minor, opus 81, Shostakovich - Romance and Waltz. Performers: Hasmik Vardanyan, cello, Alisiya Boiko, piano. Ms. Hasmik Vardanyan is a Performance Certificate Graduate Cellist at the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music; she is a student of professor Vagram Saradjian. Hasmik already performed at RCC: earlier this year she participated in the evening with Hans Graf, dedicated to Shostakovich. Ms. Alisiya Boiko also studies at the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music; she is a student of professor Tali Morgulis. Alisiya participated in the recent concert "Satire in Music," playing the music by Prokofiev. [Organizer's description]
