In the first of a series of new collaborations with the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Musiqa is proud to present a free concert celebrating Colombian art. Join us at 6:30 pm in the Nancy and Rich Kinder Building on Thursday, December 15 for an evening of music inspired by Golden Worlds: The Portable Universe of Indigenous Columbia. Musiqa's artists will perform works for the flute, viola and harp written by composers rarely heard in Houston, including Colombian composers Ricardo Gallo, Damián Ponce de León and Pedro Sarmiento, as well as Venezuelan composer Diana Arismendi.
