Friendswood’s A Night of Culture and Cuisine, an evening to celebrate arts in the Friendswood community, will take place on May 25th at Centennial Park – Evelyn B. Newman Amphitheater. An annual tradition, A Night of Culture and Cuisine features tasting from Friendswood’s best restaurants and quality entertainment from local students as well as professional dancers. The dance performance will feature “Abating Trepidation” by Friendswood Contemporary Ballet with live musical accompaniment by the Friendswood High School wind ensemble. Tickets for the full event including restaurant tastings at 6:30 p.m., a post-event drink ticket to participating nearby restaurants, and VIP seating for the performance at 7:30 p.m. are $30, or for $25 each (children are $10), you may enjoy the tastings and general lawn seating for the performance. Those seated outside of VIP are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Those wishing to only enjoy the performance may watch for free in the general lawn seating area.
