Opening Reception Gulia Groenke "Inflamed Spirits"

Redbud Arts Center is proud to announce the opening reception of Gulia Groenke with “Inflamed Spirits”, Saturday, October 7, 6pm-9pm. Gulia Groenke was born in a place that influenced her to expose the devastating Human Imprint on the natural world in her paintings. Norilsk, a city located in the world’s northernmost area, is about 200 miles above the arctic circle and pronounced as one of the most polluted places on Earth. Groenke’s works expose in form and color, inconspicuous through abstraction, the human impact on the global environment. This is her first solo exhibition.
