What does it mean to love an institution that does not embrace you fully? How can one follow a calling – when the reality of gender and sexual orientation threaten to exclude you? Out of Order is a groundbreaking feature documentary revealing the joyful experiences as well as complex and painful struggles faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) faith leaders as they confront entrenched bigotry and work to build loving support within their churches. “Out of Order” is a film that draws timely attention to the experiences and obstacles of LGBTQ young people who persist in faith and follow God’s call. After the screening, hear from the documentary participants directly in a town hall panel discussion. Complimentary Parking: 511 San Jacinto Garage. Seats are Limited – Register Now!
