To kick off the holiday season, Picos will roll out its annual Tamale Stand on Wednesday, November 17. Similar to years past, the stand will be located in the restaurant’s front parking lot with a robust menu of Picos’ famous tamales, salsas and moles made fresh daily. Menu highlights include banana leaf wrapped Tamales Oaxaqueños, filled with pork, chicken, vegetables, shrimp or turkey and corn husk wrapped Tamales Norteños filled with pork, chicken, beef, cheese, black beans, raisins, pineapple or coconut. The Tamale Stand will also serve as an extension of Picos’ popular cocktail program and serve fresh coffee. [Organizer's description]
