Maha Shivratri is one of the most devotional festivals celebrated in India and by people of Indian origin around the world.The word “Maha” means big or huge, “Ratri” means night and Shiv ji is the Lord in whom souls seek refuge. Thus, Mahashivratri is very significant for spiritual aspirants. On this evening and night, devotees engage in intense sadhana to enhance their spiritual growth. Maha Shivratri is also the occasion of the wedding of Shiv-Parvati. It symbolizes Mother Parvati's selfless devotion to Lord Shiva. For
