Opening reception and gallery talk with Aboriginal artists Silas Hobson and Irene Namok for Sandbeach Dreamings, which runs October 21st through December 16th. Booker-Lowe is the longest-running gallery of Aboriginal art in the Americas, and is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. Sandbeach Dreamings includes 26 paintings by leading and emerging artists from Lockhart River, a remote indigenous community at the northernmost tip of the Great Barrier Reef.
