Science of Happiness with Gen Kelsang Wangpo
Ordinarily, science is concerned with a systematic approach of observation and experimentation to understand the world around us. Buddha’s teachings show us how to understand the inner science of the mind. This morning workshop, taught by Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Wangpo, will consider the scientific methods for training the mind taught by Buddha 2,600 years ago. By gently training in the meditations that calm the mind, we gradually become more peaceful, confident and happy. With this positive nature, we can bring true benefit to the world around us.
