St. Paul's two (or more) letters to the church at Corinth represent the most expansive view that contemporary Christians get into the on-going relationships that Paul developed with the churches that he planted. The joy, pain, love, and frustration that give texture to any relationship are on full display as Paul attempts to guide his young community into a richer understanding of their common life in God. This year, the mid-week co-ed bible Studies will take their time with a close reading of Paul's Corinthian Correspondence.
All classes are open to anyone interested in learning more about the bible. No prior experience is required, neither is attendance at every class necessary. Optional commentary readings are available in the Cathedral bookstore.
This class meets weekly in the Mellinger Room. [Organizer's description]
