Dr. Demireva serves as the primary neuropsychologist within the TIRR Cancer Rehabilitation Program. Her specialized clinical interests lie in provision of neuropsychological evaluations and education to individuals with dementias and those dealing with the cognitive and psychosocial impact of cancer and cancer treatments.
Many of us are caring for individuals who have Alzheimer's or dementia. Join us for our monthly discussion group facilitated by TIRR Memorial Hermann. We'll share caregiving approaches, discuss what works and what doesn't, and how you can care for yourself and your loved one during this challenging time. Although participants are encouraged to share experiences and seek suggestions/support from the group, the format of the group is educational and we welcome both caregivers who wish to discuss personal examples and those who are interested in more passive participation. Event is free and open to the public. For more information or to RSVP, call 713-592-9200. [Organizer's description]
