The Beat Goes On – a tribute concert at White Oak Music Hall honoring the late Michael Carroll – a prominent Houstonian whose life was tragically cut short from a rare congenital heart disorder. Featuring the sultry vocal stylings of Charlie Mars – the Mississippi-born country- and folk- inflected pop artist blessed with a warm croon and a knack for crafting poignant, earthy songs – and headlined by legendary live performer Grace Potter, The Beat Goes On will take place during February Heart Month. 100% of proceeds go directly to The American Heart Association.
