The Women's Home presents Over the Edge

The Women’s Home, in partnership with Over The Edge, is offering Houstonians the opportunity of a lifetime, going over the edge of The DoubleTree Galleria, a 26-story building. Houstonians can check off a bucket list item without leaving the city, gaining an unforgettable perspective on Space City, the community The Women’s Home is so dedicated to supporting. This COVID-safe fundraising opportunity naturally follows social distancing protocols as rappelers will scale the popular Galleria-area hotel one at a time. While rappelers get their adrenaline pumping, The Women’s Home will get the funds flowing to support the organization’s mission to build communities that strengthen women and support families as they reclaim their stability. Those too chicken to step off the precipice of the 250-foot building have the opportunity to join the “chicken coop” by donating directly to the cause, or they can pool funds with coworkers to “Toss Your Boss.” By raising $1,000 between coworkers, a company or organization can nominate a company leader to send over the edge.
