Cindy Lisica Gallery presents an intriguing trio of artists for a multi-dimensional exhibition alongside Sculpture Month Houston. Touchstones are benchmarks as objects and significant moments and memories. These three diverse and highly accomplished artists bring their material delights to the forefront in a thought-provoking and rhythmic display of shape, color and form. The extraordinary paper work of Jae Ko returns to Houston after her acclaimed solo exhibition, FLOW, at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston in 2016 wowed audiences. Atticus Adams, Pittsburgh’s “Artist of the Year,” further establishes his gulf coast appeal with dazzling and sophisticated assemblages of textile and precious metal mesh. Nasher Center Award-recipient Rachel Fischer creates intriguing and whimsical biomorphic pieces referencing nature, culture and pop. [Organizer's description]
