Voyage of Flavors: Seven-Course Afro-Portugese Dinner with Chefs Tigao Almeida and Tristen Epps

2024 James Beard Semifinalist Chef Tristen Epps is joining The Laura Chef Tiago Almeida at Hull & Oak Southern Kitchen in Downtown Houston for a seven-course Afro-Portugese dinner with wine pairings. Menu highlights include Oyster & Bubbles: horseradish, green onions, and chardonnay vinaigrette; Lightly Steamed Lobster with artichokes, pickled fresno pepper and Kumquat Escabeche, citrus segments, and salicornia Açorda: savory bread pudding, smoked cod confit egg yolk and shellfish emulsion; Kraken Tentacle: slow-cooked octopus, maafe sauce, spicy peanuts, celery root, and chouriço; Suya Suckling Pig Duet with date chili confit, charred onion, and romano beans; and so much more.
