Wuxia Cinema: The Magic of Martial Arts

“Wuxia Cinema: The Magic of Martial Arts” celebrates the action-packed wuxia genre in Taiwanese cinema. These epic, dazzling movies demand to be seen on the big screen! The series is presented by presented by Asia Society Texas, MFAH Films and Rice Cinema. Screenings are planned at each venue on select nights from October 14-23. “Wuxia Cinema: The Magic of Martial Arts” celebrates the history and artistry of classic films from Taiwan by directors including King Hu and Ang Lee. On Tuesday, October 18, Asia Society Texas presents the series’ centerpiece screening of 'Dragon Inn 'and a reception.
