Boutique Wine Tasting at the Italian Cultural & Community Center
Friday, 7 to 9 p.m.

As part of its “Come Wine with Us” series, the Italian Cultural & Community Center will host a wine tasting featuring boutique, low-yield wines from multiple regions of Italy, including the Bruno Vespa Primitivo Raccontami 2014, which was awarded the highest rating from Gambero Rosso. The wines will be paired with bites from Sud Italia Ristorante and tickets are $60 for ICCC members and $65 for non-members. Texas Taco Music Fest at Discovery Green
Saturday, noon to 8 p.m.

Head to Downtown’s Discovery Green for the annual Texas Taco Music Fest, where you can treat yourself to a blend of specialty tacos, live indie, rock and Spanish music, crafts beers and margaritas, tasty treats, crafts and live art, and more. General admission tickets are $15. 

Forage & Gather: Dining on the Wild South at Finca Tres Robles
Saturday, 5 to 10 p.m.

Join Finca Tres Robles as it kicks off its fall season of farm pop-ups with a special Forage & Gather dinner at 6 p.m. (farm tours run from 5 to 5:30 p.m. and the evening runs until 10 o'clock). The event will combine southern comfort food with the foraged flavor of the Houston area, with chef Sky Hanka, foragers Kristen and Joshua Rosas, and Binky "Bee" Holleran from Flora Cocina leading four-course meal using ingredients from beauty berry and chicken of the woods to chantrelles, elderberry and eggplant. Tickets are $85 each. 

Screwed Up Sunday at 8th Wonder Brewery

8th Wonder Brewery, Donkeeboy Art and Screwville have once again teamed up to pay homage to DJ Screw, the creator of the iconic “chopped and screwed” sound. The fourth annual Screwed Up Sunday will feature live music, an interactive live art show, and plenty of 8th Wonder brews. Tickets are $25 in advance ($30 day of) and include admission to the party, a limited edition souvenir DJ Screw pint glass and three beer tokens. The event is rain or shine.
 
Heights Bike Trail Brewery Tour
Sunday, noon to 7 p.m.

The Heights Bike Trail Brewery Tour makes its way through three local breweries, starting at Eureka Heights where you’ll get your punch card, moving on to Holler Brewing Co, and finishing at Platypus Brewing on Washington. Visit all three and you'll earn a drawstring backpack. Tap & Pedal will be leading the tour (though you may also ride on your own) and providing support along the way, offering a hydration station on the bike trail. The tour will be departing from Eureka Heights at 1:30 p.m.
