Seabrook’s favorite floating bar and grill is hosting ten straight nights of Halloween-themed costume parties complete with drink specials, live music, costume contests and good times. Each night will be dedicated to a different theme, from “It’s A Pirate’s Life” to “Super Heroes vs. Super Villains.” The new fall menu will also be highlighted, with eats including sliders and tacos, sweet and spicy wings and flatbread pizzas.

Costumes and Cocktails at Toujouse Bar

The Tremont House invites guests to stop in at the Toujouse Bar for its Costumes and Cocktails event from 6 to 10 p.m., with those in costume earning a chance to win a weekend stay in a luxury suite at the Tremont House (all guests in costume qualify for the drawing with any purchase). As part of the fun, there will also be live jazz by Trio du Jour and complimentary treats. The hotel will notify winners on Monday, October 29.

Kids Halloween Costume Contest at Conservatory

Conservatory is  hosting a kids Halloween costume contest directly after its weekly Saturday family play (Neverland) hosted at the Prohibition Theatre (attendance at play is not necessary to attend the party). Saint Arnold Brewing Company will be in house with FREE root beer floats and kids prizes, and the beer garden will also be offering an adult option for floats. The contest starts at 1:30 p.m.

Halloween Pub Crawl in Downtown

This Halloween themed crawl will take you through the bars of Downtown, offering drink specials at every bar and giveaways throughout the crawl. Don’t forget to dress up for the fun. Tickets start at $10 and the crawl runs from 3 to 7 p.m.

Montrose Pub Crawl

The cult favorite Montrose Pub Crawl is back for its 12th year, hitting ten bars and restaurants between Dunlavy and Montrose on Westheimer from 6 p.m. to midnight. This year’s lineup includes Brasil, Poison Girl, La Grange, Pistolero’s, Boondocks, Stone’s Throw, Catbirds, Present Company, Slick Willie’s, and El Real Tex-Mex, with an awesome after-party at The Burger Joint. As always, there will be no covers and no tickets, plus live DJs spinning all night long and prizes awarded for best outfits at each stop. A portion of the crawl’s drink sales will be donated to the Houston Area Women’s Center.

Eat, drink and be scary at Holman Draft Hall's first annual Halloween Haunt. DJ Jamie will be creepin' it real and providing scary good tunes beginning at 7 p.m. and guests can expect a costume contests for singles, couples, and groups.

Prohibition Theatre invites guests to its first annual Devil’s Ball, a one-night-only costume party that will transform the iconic theatre space into the sexiest, spookiest party spot in Space City, complete with complimentary buffets, gogo dancers, DJs, a string quartet, and bottle service available by reservation. Doors open at 10 p.m. and the competition begins at midnight. Costumes are required for entry. Tickets are $100 for general admission and $200 for VIP. Pre-register online

The bistro has created a number of chalkboard specials for Halloween, including mixed greens with pumpkin deviled eggs (the egg yolks will be mixed with pumpkin mash) for $10, blood sausage with apples (boudin aux pommes and mash potatoes) for $22, and a gateau au chocolat “spider style,” a flourless chocolate cake topped with a white and black icing to resemble a spider web for $8 The special menu items will be available for both lunch and dinner.

Midtown Park will be hosting a free Halloween celebration from 5:30 to 9:20 p.m., featuring music from Ill-Set Dee-J & A Sure Thing, a variety of food trucks, vendors, complimentary beer and wine sampling, face painting, dance performers, raffle prizes and a photo booth. Costumes are encouraged.

Kids Halloween Block Party at The Barking Pig

Beginning at 6 p.m.,The Barking Pig will be closing off its parking lots and allowing people to set up stations for kids to walk safely in the lot and trick or treat. Expect a blow up bounce house and kids activities, plus a free adult Halloween drink for those who dress up.

All Hallows’ Eve at The Cottonmouth Club

One of Houston's finest craft cocktail bars will have many treats (and some tricks) for you this Halloween, as it rings in the witches' New Year with two floors of cocktails created by world-renowned bartender Michael J. Neff, crystal palm readings by Crystal Kim and music by DJ Terrace. The mayhem runs from 8 p.m. to midnight. Downstairs is open to the public and there is no cover. VIP passes cost $99 and get you access to both upstairs and downstairs bars, each with its own cocktail menu and theme, as well as hosted cocktails, amuses-bouche, tarot readings, costume contest, gift bags and more.
