Best Cocktail Bar: Better Luck Tomorrow

Better Luck Tomorrow isn’t just a cocktail bar, it’s a feeling. Neon reds, yellows, blues; the Curtis Mayfield, that’s where it starts and, upon opening a menu, the wild creativity behind this establishment only continues to play out. The cocktail list is jovial and delivers. Drinks are built, layer by layer, by the quick-handed staff. Salty Cat, Early Start, All Thyme Favorite; taste around, taste them all. And the Martini is always on point. The bar is carefully stocked with a little bit of everything; apéritif, digestif, gin, Scotch, Japanese whisky, bourbon. This joint is your before-something cocktail bar, your after something-cocktail bar or simply the spot to set up shop for the night.

Oh, and the bar food. Drool-worthy dishes, executed on a level as to be expected from any Justin Yu joint, should be ordered by the couple and shared all around. Their hours are fitting of a cocktail establishment but, what’s this, brunch? For a place that’s not too big, not too small, Better Luck Tomorrow really does have it all.
