Paella Experience at Arnaldo Richards’ Picos

Chef Arnaldo Richards will be offering a one-of-a-kind Paella Experience, beginning with a demonstration and outdoor cooking show with wine, sangria, and signature cocktails for purchase. Richards will be making Valencian surf-and-turf paella for approximately 80-90 people and a turf paella for approximately 40-50 people. The cooking demonstration is free; and plates of paella will be $12 per plate (ready around 1 p.m. until sold out).

SpindleTap is celebrating its third birthday with live music, DJ beats, new and old favorite beers, family-friendly activitiews and good times. The lineup of beers on tap includes Boomtown Blonde, Hop Gusher IPA, Honey Hole ESB, Juiceton DIPA, Nitro Rauchtabout, Houston Haze IPA and Chunk up the Juice DIPA, to name a few.
Ticket packages range from $20 to $100.

Houston Turkish Festival features a Grand Bazaar, folk music and dance, arts and crafts, a kids corner, and plenty of traditional food and drink. Dig into
kebabs and
doner, veggie sandwiches and platters, chicken and rice, falafel, Turkish coffee and
baklava. Tickets are $8 in advance (free for kids 12 and under).
The Gr8 Taco Challenge at 8th Wonder Brewery

The Gr8 Taco Challenge returns with a lineup of 20-plus local restaurants and bars, each battling it out for taco supremacy.
Tickets are $50 in advance ($60 at the door) and include a taco from each competitor, three beer tokens, a Michelada bar and limited edition glassware. Guests can also expect tasty tunes by Heapin' Helpin' and assorted fruited Haterade on tap.
Alamat Dinner at Poitín

Poitín will host a special Alamat dinner, a celebration of Filipino culture and cuisine featuring dishes such as beef cheek
bistek, quail
pyang gang, pork
adobo, fall squash
pinakbet and roasted
lechon. The
kamayan dinner begins with a cocktail hour and finishes with desserts from halo halo to ube.
Tickets are $70++ per person.
