Where to Brunch in Houston This Easter Sunday 2023

Warehouse 72 is offer an Easter Sunday Jazz Brunch complete with an egg hunt for the kids.
Easter Sunday falls on Sunday, April 9 this year, so now is a good time to make your holiday brunch plans. From family-friendly brunch buffets to prix fixe affairs, these Houston restaurants are ready to make your Easter special with classic plates and morning cocktails, egg hunts, live jazz and more.

a’Bouzy, 2300 Westheimer
The champagne-fueled hotspot will debut  its new Waffle Bar with hot, fresh waffles made-to-order with an array of toppings and syrups. Specials on Grower Champagnes will also be available.

Arnaldo Richards’ Picos, 3601 Kirby
Picos is offering a traditional Easter Brunch Buffet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring meat carving, omelet and waffle stations, plus a special antojito platter, paella grande, charcuterie options, Picos’ legendary moles and a dessert bar. The all you can eat buffet is $54 for adults, $42 for seniors, $30 for children over eight years old, and free for children under eight years old.

B&B Butchers & Restaurant, 1814 Washington
Easter Sunday brunch will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with live music on the rooftop patio.

B.B. Lemon, 1809 Washington
Brunch will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and there will be a DJ on the lawn.

Backstreet Cafe, 1103 South Shepherd
The classic will offer a special three-course Easter brunch from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. featuring live jazz and courses such as chilled creamy artichoke soup, scallops and risotto, lamb shank, beef tenderloin and eggs, and carrot cake. Cost is $56 per person, $15 per child, plus tax, gratuity and beverages.

Blue Lagoon Bar & Grill, 15808 Crystal Terrace
Beginning at 11 a.m., brunch features includeSmoked Salmon Benedict, Crab Cake Benedict, Florentine Benedict, Brunch Pizza and the Texas Overload Breakfast, featuring chicken fried steak, buttermilk biscuits with gravy and two eggs any style and a carrot cake dessert. Kids are invited to enjoy pancakes on a stick and a milkshake bar to build their own milk shakes. For adults, Blue Lagoon will feature Mimosa flights with orange, cranberry, pineapple and guava mimosas.

Brennan’s of Houston, 3300 Smith
Brennan’s Easter weekend festivities include Brunch with the Bunny on Friday, April 7; a fun-filled Hoppy Brunch on Saturday; and classic Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 9.

Caracol, 2200 Post Oak
Caracol’s bounteous Sunday brunch buffet will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Easter, featuring brunch favorites, a carving station, seasonal plates and specialty Easter desserts. Cost is $55 per person, $15 per child, plus beverage, tax and gratuity.

CRÚ, 2800 Kirby, 9595 Six Pines
Enjoy a Napa-style wine country Easter Brunch with a la carte items and three-course prix fixe ($38) menu, plus $6 mimosas, bellinis, ciprianis along with discounted prices on Domaine Chandon Rose and Veuve Cliquot Yellow Label by the glass. Highlights include smoked salmon deviled egg toast, goat cheese beignet, crab cake benedict, steak and eggs, and butter toasted lemon pound cake. Brunch runs from 10 am to 3 pm.

Dario's Steakhouse and Seafood, 14315 Cypress Rosehill

Etoile Cuisine et Bar, 1101-11 Uptown Park
Etoile Cuisine et Bar is celebrating Easter with a special three-course brunch menu from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $60 per adult plus beverages, tax and gratuity. A kid’s menu is also available for $25. Brunch highlights include Étoile’s deviled eggs with poached shrimp and French cocktail sauce, uck foie gras “au torchon," roasted leg of lamb and Meyer lemon tarte with raspberry coulis.

Eunice, 3737 Buffalo Speedway
Guests can feast on specials created by chef Drake Leonards like the Grilled Leg of Lamb ($41) with Atkinsons Farm vegetable ragout and red wine jus, or the Softshell Crab Benedict ($37) with country ham, poached egg and tasso hollandaise (add 2 farm fresh eggs for $4 or bacon for $7).

Gatsby’s Grill, 2929 Navigation
Enjoy house favorites like the Crab Avocado Queso and Anaya’s Burger or try new brunch items like the  Chicken Fried Steak Biscuit, Crab Cake or Salmon Benedict, Crab Meat Omelet and Steak and Eggs.

Georgia James, 3503 West Dallas
Easter Sunday brunch runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a special menu from executive chef Greg Peters plus favorites like the Viet-Cajun Roasted Oysters ($35) or the Fried Holmes Chicken ($36) from the regular menu.

Hilton Americas, 1600 Lamar
1600 Bar + Grille will feature a delectable breakfast spread of favorite classic items, specialty menu items and an appearance from the Easter Bunny himself. The meet and greet will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and reservations can be made online. Cost is $29.75 per adult and $14.50 per child.

Hugo’s, 1600 Westheimer
For Easter Sunday, Hugo’s will serve its famous Sunday brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests will find their usual brunch favorites as well as a carving station, some new seasonal items and specialty Easter desserts. Cost is $55 per person, $15 per child, plus beverage, tax and gratuity.

Hull & Oak, 1070 Dallas
Located inside the Laura Hotel, the southern-inspired eatery will host an Easter Brunch complete with DJ music and special menu items in addition to its regular a la carte menu. Enjoy pickled deviled eggs, duck confit salad, rack of lamb, stuffed pork loin in brown butter bourbon sauce, apple tart and creme brulee.

Indianola, 1201 Saint Emanuel
Enjoy a modern Texas brunch spread from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a prix fixe, bottomless brunch experience (with full tableside service) with dishes including wild Gulf shrimp cocktail, crawfish feviled eggs, herb crusted leg of lamb, wood-grilled black angus filet with horseradish cream, duck fat roasted potatoes,  squash casserole with butter cracker crust and carrot cake with salted cream cheese frosting, among other delights.

Kenny & Ziggy’s, 1743 Post Oak
The deli will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving its signature sky-scraping sandwiches, smoked fish, comfort foods like stuffed cabbage and Hungarian goulash and stocked dessert case.

KP’s Kitchen, 8412 Katy Freeway
Open Easter Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., secials will include Australian Lamb Chops and Prime Rib dinner (also available to go) served a la carte or with sides.

Le Jardinier at MFAH, 5500 Main
DIne on a three-course Easter brunch menu for $140 per person, with dishes such as Poached Gulf Shrimp with cucumber herbal yogurt; Spiced Roasted Lamb with aubergine mousse; and Carrot Cake with cream cheese mouse. Wine pairings may be added for $75 and a 10g addition of Royal Kaluga Caviar for $35. The menu will be available from noon to 7 p.m.

Liberty Kitchen & Oysterette, 4224 San Felipe, 963 Bunker Hill
Both locations will open at 9 a.m. on Easter Sunday with the regular brunch menu plus specials including
Salmon Lox Benedict ($32) and Lobster Avocado Toast ($28).

Los Tios, multiple locations
Enjoy a Tex-Mex brunch at all five locations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with traditional favorites like Huevos Rancheros ($8.50), Migas ($8.95) and various Breakfast Tacos ($3.50), in addition to classic brunch cocktails like the Bloody Mary ($8) or Mimosa ($6). The kid’s Tres Pesos Pancakes ($2.95) come with three silver dollar pancakes served with whipped butter and hot syrup.

Marvino’s will serve an Easter menu from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. for $55 per person plus tax and gratuity, with choices including roasted corn and poblano crab chowder, savory seafood cheesecake, filet mignon eggs benedict, chicken Marvino with seafood linguini and freshmade carrot cake.

Navy Blue, 2445 Times
Easter brunch will be a la carte from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with specials such as house smoked salmon served with jumbo asparagus, poached egg with bearnaise sauce, rack oflamb persillade served with spring vegetables and natural jus and morel omelet topped with frisee and drizzled with truffle vinaigrette.

The Original Ninfa’s, 2704 Navigation, 1700 Post Oak
The Original Ninfa’s is extending brunch to 3 p.m. on Easter Sunday, offering Quail & Crepe and a special Easter cocktail made with 400 Conejos, which translates to “rabbit” in Spanish.

Ostia, 2032 Dunlavy
The picturesque restaurant will be seating for brunch from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with brunch offerings such as Focaccia French Toast with blueberries and mascarpone, Ricotta Pancakes with maple syrup and salted butter, and Grilled Gulf Fish with Calabrian chili and cherry tomato salsa.

Ouisie’s special Easter Brunch menu will be a la carte, with highlights including smoked ham Benedict, buttermilk blueberry pancakes, New England clam chowder, chicken fried chicken and lamb chops Provençale. Easter Brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (eggs and pancakes until 3).

Ouzo Bay, 4444 Westheimer
Enjoy Mediterranean takes on classic brunch dishes including Short Rib Chilequiles ($22) with fried pita, tzatziki, pickled onions, salsa verde, and a fried egg; the Greek Breakfast Gyro ($19) featuring roasted lamb with scrambled eggs, tzatziki, tomatoes, red onion, and Greek oregano fries; and Crab Cake Benedict ($35) and the Maine Lobster Omelette ($32); served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Pier 6 Seafood & Oyster House, 113 6th
The Easter Bunny will be on the bay for photo opps and fun during Easter Sunday brunch at this San Leon oyster house, which will be decked out in festive, springy decor. Brunch favorites include BBQ Shrimp & Grits, Lobster Benedict and Chilled Seafood Platters.

Postino, multiple locations
Served from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., brunch highlights include Umbria Egg Toast with white truffle and crispy oyster mushroom; Cast Iron Sticky Bread with Madagascar vanilla caramel; and Seeded Avocado Toast topped with Calabrian chili tahini and hard-boiled egg; plus $6 mimosas and bellinis.

Prego, 2520 Amherst
Prego will open from noon for brunch, serving its full menu plus dailys specials including halibut, lamb chops and veal chops. There will also be daily wine specials and a special farmers market Menu on the patio that is served until 3 p.m.

Rainbow Lodge, 2011 Ella
The historic lodge restaurant will be offering a special three-course Easter menu for $60 per person, plus beverage, tax and gratuity ($35 kids menu). Brunch Menu highlights include pan-seared halibut, roasted spring lamb, smoked duck gumbo, braised short rib benedict and rainbow trout with pecan butter Easter brunch will be served 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Raven Grill, 1916 Bissonnet
Recently celebrating 25 years, The Raven Grill will host Easter brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with menu items including migas, breakfast scrambles, french toast, blackened salmon, burgers and more.

Rosalie Italian Soul, 400 Dallas
Over at the C. Baldwin Hotel, Rosalie will be offering Sunday Brunch features such as carrot rigatoni, squash blossom pizza, braised lamb shoulder and strawberry-rhubarb crostada. Brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Skeeters Mesquite Grill, 5529 Weslayan,121 West Lake Houston Parkway
The go-to neighborhood spot is serving up an all you can eat buffet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $15.95 per person and $5.95 for kids under 12.

Sorriso Italian Kitchen, 2 Waterway Square Pl
Served from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and priced at $60 per person and $21 for children, enjoy an Easter brunch buffet featuring housemade pastries, stracciatella bruschetta, omelets made to order, fresh campanelle pasta served in a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano, carved porchetta and more.

State Fare, 947 Gessner, 15930 City Walk, 1900 Hughes Landing
All locations will be serving brunch Good Friday through Easter Sunday, opening at 9 a.m. Sunday. In addition to the brunch menu, guests can enjoy the Cadbury Easter Pancake special ($17) which includes three buttermilk pancakes filled with easter candy and topped with caramel drizzles and chocolate Cadbury eggs.

State of Grace, 3258 Westheimer
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the restaurant will offer its signature brunch menu plus an Easter Bunny in the restaurant throughout brunch service to take photos with children and families. Look for festive southern brunch staples like butter biscuits & ham, deviled eggs, crawfish benedict and more.

Sylvia’s Enchilada Kitchen, 6401 Woodway, 1140 Eldridge
Just for the holiday, Sylvia’s will be bringing back its Sunday brunch buffet filled with Tex-Mex classics from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $29.99 plus tax, gratuity and beverages ($12 for kids under age 12).

Traveler’s Table, 520 Westheimer
Easter brunch offers a three-course prix fixe menu for $50 per person (plus tax and gratuity), with highlights including breakfast bread pudding, braised oxtail omelet and smoked salmon latkes.

Truluck's, 5350 Westheimer, 1900 Hughes Landing
With Easter Sunday hours starting at noon at the Houston location and 11 a.m. in The Woodlands, menu highlights include miso-glazed sea bass, sesame seared tuna, carrot cake and a Spring Fling cocktail kissed with vodka, cava, raspberries and more.

URBE, 1101 Uptown Park
URBE will be offering a special three-course Easter Menu which includes choice of starter and entrée and a dessert buffet for $49 per adult and $15 for kids, plus beverages, tax and gratuity. The in-house bakery will be making special Easter pastries and cookies. Brunch will be served 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wild Oats, 2520 Airline
The Texas-inspired Underbelly Hospitality concept will be featuring masterfully made Easter specials in addition to its regular menu with favorites like the Wagyu Chicken Fried Steak ($38), Wood Grilled Chicken ($36) and Short Rib Fajitas ($65). The Easter bunny will be in attendance from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Warehouse 72, 7620 Katy Freeway
Enjoy Easter Jazz Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring live jazz and brunch specials like Prime Rib in addition to Shrimp & Grits, Chicken and Waffles and Steak and Eggs. There will also be a casual Easter egg hunt around the restaurant for the kids.

Xochi, 1777 Walker
Chef Hugo Ortega and his team will serve their famous bounteous Sunday brunch buffet on Easter from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests will find their usual brunch favorites as well as a carving station, some new seasonal items and specialty Easter desserts. Cost is $55 per person, $15 per child, plus beverage, tax and gratuity.
