A while back we featured some of the greatest video game lamps available to gamers that like a little style in their home lighting scheme. Today, we salute some new products for that purpose and let you know where they are available.
It's always a good idea to start with Mario in gaming, and you can't do worse than this elegant and classic fixture from TRoweDesigns. The lamp stands a foot tall on a hand-painted wooden base, and is activated by the chain snaking through the real plumbing fixture pipes. You get your choice of Mario, Fire Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, or Toad as your representative. It's a bit steep at almost $200, but does come with a spare 6 watt bulb at least.

The Type 1 Energy Sword from Halo was the melee weapon of choice for the Covenant Empire, exclusively used by the Sangheili. You can't own one in real life, but this table lamp from Pete Betcher is the next best thing at less than half the price of the Mario piece. The blades are made up of polished, laser-cut blue acrylic that adds a soft glow to your room. The blades also lift out for cosplay purposes, but be advised that they are very sharp. Not for homes with small children.
Another Pete Betcher classic celebrates the elegance and enduring majesty of the Legend of Zelda with this Triforce lamp. It projects both the minimalistic light of the Goddesses triangle sigils, as well as the crest of the Hyrulean royal family. Betcher has been improving his Zelda lamps tremendously over the years, and now offers a variety of versions in different sizes and styles on his page.
